Book a consultationIn brief
School IT support is a managed service that keeps teaching technology working. We look after laptops, tablets and classroom screens, run the school network and Wi-Fi, manage Microsoft 365 accounts for staff and pupils, and keep filtering in place.
A school's needs differ from an office's. Devices are shared, users change every September, and safeguarding rules decide what pupils can reach online. Our plans are built around the school year and your budget.

Common problems
These are the issues that most often hold back IT in schools, from a small village primary to an academy with several sites.
Screens that will not connect, laptops with flat batteries or missed updates, and a lesson plan that has to change on the spot.
Schools must have filtering and monitoring that work. Many have never tested what pupils can actually reach.
Pupils and staff who left in July still have logins, licences and files sitting in the school's tenant.
One person covers every fault, every site and every project, with no cover in holidays.
Each one takes time from teaching and strains a tight budget, and a gap in filtering or backups can turn into a safeguarding or data protection problem.
We give your school a support plan built around its year.

Built for Berkshire schools
Schools across Windsor, Eton, Slough and Maidenhead share the same pressures: tight budgets, shared devices and staff who need things to work before the first lesson. We plan big jobs for the holidays, keep a record of every device and give you one team to call.
Our school support helps:
What we cover
Choose a full support plan or only the parts your school needs most, such as a termly health check or help with a new IT suite. Every plan has a fixed price you can budget for, with no hidden fees.
We set up, update and repair staff laptops, pupil laptops and tablets, interactive displays and printers. Devices are enrolled in central management, so a lost iPad can be locked and a new laptop arrives ready to use.
We put web filtering and monitoring in place on school devices and the network, check them against the DfE standards and give your designated safeguarding lead clear reports on what was blocked and flagged.
We set up Microsoft 365 for education with Teams classes, shared staff drives and safe email for pupils. Accounts are created and removed in bulk at the start and end of each year, so licences match who is in school.
Wi-Fi has to cope when thirty pupils log on at once. We plan access points room by room, including the hall, manage switches and firewalls, and arrange broadband or a leased line sized for the whole school.
Pupil records, staff files and Microsoft 365 data are backed up automatically to UK datacentres, and restores are tested regularly. It supports your GDPR duty to restore personal data after a cyber attack, fire or simple mistake.
We manage antivirus, patching and multi-factor authentication on staff accounts, run phishing awareness training for teachers and office staff, and can guide the school through Cyber Essentials.

Our steps
We work around the timetable, not the other way round. Four steps take your school from its current setup to a support plan that fits the year.
We walk the site with your business manager or head, look at classrooms, the server cupboard and Wi-Fi, and find out what staff and pupils struggle with. The visit is free and carries no obligation.
We audit devices, accounts, filtering, backups and licences, then write a short report in plain English that shows what needs fixing first and what can wait.
You get a fixed price and a plan that schedules larger work, such as a Wi-Fi upgrade or laptop refresh, for half terms and the summer, so lessons carry on as normal.
Staff call or log a ticket, our team fixes most issues remotely and a technician visits when hands are needed. Before each September we set up new accounts and devices.
